The Risk Management Team develops, maintains and implements a Risk Management Framework for Powerex’s trading activities. Through collaboration with all areas of the business, the team helps identify, measure, monitor and report on existing and emerging risks. Risk team members have a diverse set of backgrounds with expertise in market structure, financial modeling and analysis, technology and operations.
Assess counterparties and recommend appropriate credit limits against which they monitor, measure and mitigate exposure.
With an exceptional analytical skillset and a knowledge of physical and financial energy markets, Market Risk analysts support the risk management of Powerex’s exposure to price risk from its trading activities.
Manages data in the Energy Trade Risk Management system and works with various groups across the organization to support critical business processes.
